Coach Geoff Kowalski
Geoff has been a life-long tournament player, starting USTA Tournaments at the age of eight. Geoff grew up outside Philadelphia, and developed his game under the coching of tennis legend Ian Crookenden (doubles partner with Arthur Ashe at both UCLA and Wimbledon). At the Philadelphia Cricket Club he learned how to adapt his tennis game for the hard, clay and grass surfaces.
Geoff competed in National and International Tournaments throughout his career, culminating in a year with entry into the Easter Bowl, Copper Bowl and ITF International Grasscourt Championships. While he was interested in playing in college, and had offers at the DII and DIII schools, he decided to use his time at Cornell University as a Varsity member of the Alpine Ski Team, racing Giant Slalom events.
Geoff currently owns and runs his own Sports Management consulting firm, Sports LEVEL Management, working with former professional athletes, helping them build businesses leveraging their experience and brands to have successful second careers. Specializations include licensing, events, venues, education and leadership, with partners such as Hall of Famer Jackie Slater and 4x Super Bowl Champion Jesse Sapolu.
